여름 방학 잘 지내셨는지요?

팰리세이드한국학교에서 가을학기부터 함께 공부할 신입생과 재학생 여러분을 환영합니다.

개학 일정 및 유의 사항을 알려 드리니 자녀들의 가을 학기 준비에 도움이 되시기 바랍니다.

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Palisades Korean School. I hope you have had a wonderful summer.

We are excited to be welcoming all of our students, new and current, back to the 2019 Fall Semester at Palisades Korean School.

Please read all of the information below carefully to prepare for Fall 2019 Semester.

1. 개학일 일정 (First day of school schedule)

4:30~5:00  개학식 (Opening ceremony) and 전교생 학습활동 (Group Activity)

5:00~6:00  각 반 수업 (Classroom Activity)

6:00~6:20 저녁식사 (Dinner)

6:00~7:40 각 반 수업 (Classroom Activity)

2. 개학일 저녁은 학부모회에서 제공합니다.  학기 중에는 학부모회 주관으로 매 주 학생들의 저녁을 준비하오니 학부모님들께서는 적극적으로 저녁 봉사를 자원하여 주시기 바랍니다. 자녀들의 교육에 동참하는 엄마.아빠의 모습은 아이들에게 큰 기쁨이 됩니다. 

개학일에 저녁 자원 봉사 사인업 시트를 준비하오니 부디 자원하여 주시고 저녁 비용도 납부하여 주시기 바랍니다.

On the first day of school, the PTA will provide dinner for the students. After the first day of school, groups of parents will take turns preparing and serving dinner for the students throughout the semester. This helps reduce time preparing your child’s dinner every week, and the children enjoy seeing their parents volunteer for dinner service. We will have a sign-up sheet on the first day of school. Please pay dinner fees directly to the PTA.

3. 개학식에서 진행되는 학습활동에 학부모님들도 함께 하시길 권장합니다.

Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate in our fall semester opening ceremony and group activity on September 6, 2019.

4.  학교 출석할 때 학생들은 학교 가방을 사용합니다. 신입생들에게는 학교 가방을 무료 제공합니다.

    재학생들은 가지고 있는 가방을 계속 사용하면 됩니다. 재학생이 새 가방을 원할 경우 구입 료는 $5 입니다.

All students must use the Palisades School bag for Korean School.

New students will receive a new bag for free.

Current students may purchase School bag for $5, if they want a new bag.

    

5. 학생들의 안전을 위해 등교할 때와 방과 후 교실에서 학생들을 픽업하여 주시기 부탁드립니다.

Parents must drop off and pick up children in the classroom for safety reasons. We will not allow students to leave the building without parents.

6. 담임선생님들께서 개학 준비를 위한 세부사항을 다시 이메일로 알려 드릴 것 입니다.

Homeroom teachers will send out detailed information again soon.
